Privacy Policy

Your data stays on your server.

DockLog runs on your infrastructure. We do not receive your logs, stats, or credentials. Short version below.

Details

1. Overview

DockLog is self-hosted software you run on your own machine. We do not receive your container logs, host stats, or login credentials. Nothing from your deployment is sent to us by default.

This policy covers the DockLog application. The marketing site at docklog.dev may use privacy-friendly analytics if enabled; the self-hosted app itself does not.

2. Where your data lives

Logs, CPU/memory samples, user accounts, and audit entries are processed on your host. Set DB_PATH and they persist in a local SQLite file you control. Skip it in no-auth mode and some data stays in memory until restart.

3. Third-party tracking

The DockLog container has no built-in telemetry, ad pixels, or tracking cookies. It only talks outbound if you expose it or point it at a remote DOCKER_HOST.

4. Questions

Open a GitHub issue or reach out to the maintainers if something here is unclear.
